SNOVONNE RELEASES "IT CHANGES ME" with BJÖRN 'SPEED' STRID
Multidisciplinary artist Snovonne 'Sno' Drake is back with a new single and video “It Changes Me”. This uplifting, yet melancholic, dark pop ballad features Björn ‘Speed’ Strid (Soilwork, The Night Flight Orchestra).
“I wanted to take our voices out of metal, “ says Sno. “Björn is a dear friend and easily one of my favorite vocalists ever, there’s no limits to his capabilities. I wanted to write something cathartic for us that would allow the wide vocal soundscapes and airy synth arrangements. A song that gives space to all emotion and lets it flow.”
“It Changes Me” explores moments of pain and destruction as a catalyst for freedom, rebirth, and liberation. The video, also directed and produced by Snovonne (Sno Drake Media, Italy), translates these elements through hyper-stylized, art deco cinematography.
Björn says: “Snovonne is a true hidden gem - a force of nature and an incredible visionary. I’m very excited to share the microphone with her on this fantastic song that is now finally released for everyone to hear. Really proud of this one. The video is also fantastic so make sure you don’t miss this visual and audial feast!”
The song was written by Snovonne ‘Sno’ Drake and produced by Snovonne and Eddy Cavazza (Silent Ghost, Italy).
It was mixed by Simon Johansson (SolnaSound Production, Sweden) and mastered by Thomas ‘Plec’ Johansson (The Panic Room, Sweden).
